The Team

There are a number of people who are either behind the scenes or working face to face with clients, who are an important part of the well-oiled machine, that is BIgLove. Some volunteers have worked with the homeless for countless years and have come together to support BigLove and it aims, bringing knowledge, experience and their time to the table.

Each member of the team is valuable and without them BigLove comes to a stand still.

Michael Johnson: Director and Founder of BigLove

Michael has gained much expertise in working with vulnerable people of all ages and has worked on numerous projects.

In October 2008, Michael worked in Lithuania supporting adults suffering from drug and alcohol addictions. Before this, he visited Africa and worked with orphans who lost their parents to H.I.V. After which, Michael then got involved with the H.I.V team in Chichester.

Michael has also been a mentor to young care leavers with mental health problems as well as working with adults with special needs and learning disabilities.

More recently he was employed at a local homeless project, which helped, shape his vision for BigLove.
