'I volunteer as I want to help and support people in my church community of Bognor. It is a privilege to share God's love with such lovely and receptive people and support a positive organization that is doing such good work.'

‘I volunteered for BigLove as I feel so grateful for coming through a difficult life journey myself that I’d like to be there for others struggling, for those on the fringe of society, ‘outsiders’ and so on.’

‘I want to make a small difference in the community and felt I would like to be involved with people in need or people with needs. I like people and enjoy cooking so thought maybe I could combine the two! Jesus has done so much for me that I want to do my part in Bognor Regis and get alongside people.’
Carly
‘I volunteer for Big Love because I want to demonstrate God’s love in action within our community.’

The structure is good, leaving a lot of freedom to express yourself and use your gifting and calling. It is a lovely sharing experience and give me the opportunity to go deeper.’

‘I made the decision to join BigLove to make a difference to those that need help. It doesn’t matter where they are in life…I want to be able to show them the love that God has shown me.’

‘Help the homeless cause I’ve been homeless before, to impart my knowledge of what they may come up against. To answer their questions that they may have and to help BigLove in any way I can.’
Bill J
‘I think it is morally wrong that people have to sleep on the streets. Everyone should have a roof over his or her head, food, warmth, clothing etc it should be provided by the local council as a right. BigLove is trying to address the issues brought by poverty. I know I’m lucky, others are not.’
